Just a quick question, what size should I make the array that outputs the available display modes in this method? Thanks :)

You don't make it an array.

You use the GetAdapterModeCount to get the size of how many are there... Then you loop through the modes using an index in the EnumAdapterModes function...

counter = p_D3D->GetAdapterModeCount(D3DADAPTER_DEFAULT, dFormat);
for(counter2 = 0; counter2 < counter; counter2++)
{
p_D3D->EnumAdapterModes(D3DADAPTER_DEFAULT, dFormat, counter2, &dDM);

}

Something along those lines.
