Counting pipeline vertices and polys

I want to know how many vertices and polygons are being drawn on the screen at any time. Is there any way to access this information from the pipeline? I am talking about after all clipping, scaling, transforming, etc., just exactly what goes on the screen. Best regards,

You can use the feedback buffer for that,but it will definetely slow down the performance.You can enable the feedback by using glRenderMode(GL_FEEDBACK) and call glFeedbackBuffer() to define the info you wish to retrieve.
