Hey there, I am wanting to divide a mesh into subsets for rending with different attributes, such as lighting. At current, the whole mesh is rendered in one subset mesh->DrawSubset(0); However i wish to seperate it into seperate subsets as such: //Setup lights for floor mesh->DrawSubset(0); //floor //Setup lights for wall mesh->DrawSubset(1); //Walls etc. The meshes are loaded into memory using D3DXLoadmeshfromX(...); The models are modelled in maya 4, and are converted to .x format from .mb format.
