MD2 load help!!

Is there any document that explains the file format for MD2 models? I want the file format not some tutorials on how to load the model i need information on how many bytes to allocate (for example in getting frame/vert, etc).. I need the to get information like bytes to allocate per structure. thanks

Try WOTSIT or enter: MilkShape in GOOGLE. The Chumbalums web site holds a MD2 (Quake2) model viewer with source. Go there and grab it.

Or perhaps visit www.wotsit.org .

MD2 is very easy to handle. But i advise you, go to more C++ style rather than ANSI C. If you would like to do like the old quake way, use the "malloc". But you can also define a vertex in a structure or class and use MyVertex* pVertex= new MyVertex[numVertices];

Btw. The full Quake2 Source code was released. It is all there.
