setup cube texture?

How can I initial a new created cube texture from six different texture files(eg. jpg picture format)?

Hi,

first create it using D3DXCreateCubeTexture.
then the cube texture will have a function called GetCubeMapSurface. You can get the six surfaces separatly. I can't remember if you have to lock it but then use D3DXLoadSurfaceFromFile to load a texture to a surface.
Don't forget to Release things.
If this isn't working, then I will post you complete source since I did this not so long ago, but don't have the code here now.
