Can someone tell me where i can get info or tutorials on the very basics of DirectX? I want to make my own games, 2d and 3d but i dont have $100 for blitz 3d. I have the free beta of Visual C++ so i was hoping i could use that instead. I already know enough c++ to get around for console apps, but i dont know a thing about direct X
