A few weeks ago I saw a great tutorial on random terrain generation that simulated dribbling "blocks" onto the ground and letting them build a height map. By changing the drop point you could get some nice peaks and there were some extensions that made them look like volcanoes. I'm trying to code up my own version but I'd like to have the site for reference (especially for the "volcanification" bit). I thought I'd bookmarked it but I can't find it now ... so anyone know what/where it is? (if all else fails I'll just continue coding my own version and see what happens)
