Recommend me a good book to get started out with DX9

I'm completely clueless about this now. I'm trying to get myself started with DirectX 9 and figuring out how to start out with 2D in D3D9. However, I'm having alot of trouble, missing alot of theoratical knowledge(I think). So, I'm looking for a book that gets me started wtih dx9, covers 2D stuff(Preferable textured quads) such as quads, rotation, scaling, transparancy, etc. and then moves on to the 3D stuff. Does anyone have a good book that I should get? I still have a ton of book coupons, so money is no problem. Toolmaker
