Hi again. Here my problem a little more solved but still a making my mind spin. In my project I have two icons. One 32x32(IDI_SKELETON) the other 16x16(IDI_SKELETON_SM). When I have my code as such the 32x32 Icon doesn't appear when the program runs. Or any icon for that mater. wndclass.hIcon = LoadIcon(hInstance, MAKEINTRESOURCE(IDI_SKELETON)); wndclass.hIconSm = LoadIcon(hInstance, MAKEINTRESOURCE(IDI_SKELETON_SM)); If I have it like so. wndclass.hIcon = LoadIcon(hInstance, MAKEINTRESOURCE(IDI_SKELETON)); wndclass.hIconSm = 0; //Default Icon Then my larger icon appears. I have win 98 if that means anything. So how can I fix this? Becuase the code im working with uses both the large and small icons.

Try creating one icon file with multiple device images. A single .ICO file (and the corresponding resource) can contain many different sizes and colour depths.
