Then it looks like you missed the first 20 or so links.
Here's a tutorial i was planning on looking at. problem is that it's in ASM --> dot3 bump mapping. Doesn;t the summer SDK include some samples too?

There are lots of good normal mapping tutorials out there, but they all use the fixed-function pipeline (FFP). If you want to use normal mapping in your HLSL or ASM shader, the Nvidia SDK has a good sample of it.
