Hi, I'm trying to create an icon for my site. Making a "favico.ico" doesn't work for me.. how come ?? Do my icon have to had 16 colors ? I saw others icon that seems to have at least 256 colors, can somebody tell me a good freeware to make icon ? Thank you..

hmm.. i thought that when you named the icon file with favico.ico it will automatically become the default icon for your site, but I guess I'm wrong..
lemme try it again
btw.. what about the icon color.. must it be 16 colors ? any freeware for icon maker ??

This site has some icon editors, the older one is free for commercial (I believe).
