Blending with Multi-Texturing

Hi. I want to make ab really simple blend between two textures on a single Quad. like that: http://mellowz.codernet.org/mp/images/multiblend.jpg Is this possible with Multitexturing with only these two textures? Perhaps also with extra usage of glColor4f to declare how the blend-factors should be. Would be nice, if someone could tell me if and how. Thanx.
