In SDL how would I go about writing a jpeg file without using any external libraries? I have already displayed the jpg using img_load and did some pixel manipulations. I would like to save this surface back into a jpeg file. thanks

I guess I found an answer:
int SDL_SaveBMP(SDL_Surface *surface, const char *file);

But I wanted to write it as jpg. Oh well, I'll settle for bmp.
