What world file format to start with?

I am working on a small OpenGL 3D engine and wonder about which file format I should use for my world (level). I am a beginner on that field and decided to build all world objects using Blender. For models I want to use the md2 format. My engine should at least support frustum culling in the first version. Later on, after finishing a first game project with the engine, I'll think of adding BSP or Octrees for further culling and speed things up. But for now I will keep things simple. The file format should support uv texture coordinates or something like this. Perhaps I'll have to write a new exporter for Blender?! Any ideas or hints? Thanks in advance!
