I am currently trying to implement a program for users of the MMORPG Kings of Chaos to allow them to click each other's 'unique link' to give each other soldiers - a link swapping program. The program needs to fetch a list of links (which I can already do), but it then needs to open each of the links in Mozilla so that the user can verify the links (image verification is necessary). I had the idea of opening several tabs and cycling through them. Data is then POSTed back, which I can also do. Currently, I fetch and POST data using ClientCookie. However, I need to be able to control Mozilla from client-side python - opening tabs, changing tabs, extracting data from web pages. I have been searching for methods, but the leads I did find - RPC and pyXPCOM - seemed to get no-where. Can anyone help me find a way to control Mozilla from Python - my knowledge of python is quite thorough and I also know quite a bit of C and C++. I have had some experience with Java and also javascript. However, even from client-side javascript embedded in, say, c, I have not found a way to control Mozilla. Being able to do it from Python would be preferable to C. Yours thankfully and hopefully.

Firstly, are you sure this isn't against the rules of the game? I suspect it is.

I don't think you'll find an easy way of doing what you ask for because that would make it pretty easy to hijack someone's system. You might have to write an extension.

It isn't against the rules of the game at all.

So you're saying I should look into writing an extention, correct? I'll look into that. Thankyou very much.
