does anyone here have experience with Virtools? or maby knows where I can find some info, tutorials etc.. I can't say I really like the official web site much..

Virtools is the coolest gamedev/prototyping platform ever. Its got a simple scene construction system and the scripting is all based on a Labview style graphical-functional-programming system. Its the way all gamedevving should be.

Unfortunately, its also one of those products which doesn't list the cost on their website - which is the universal language phrase meaning "if you have to ask, you can't afford it".

Sounds very intriguing. Is the system well documented anywhere, and could the process be applied on a simpler scale?

well, the problem is that it is very lousy documented, the interface is preatty easy, but it would still be good to have some good documentation.. :)
