I have both an ATI and an nVidia at home and it seems that ati cards have strange behavior when i use fog and fullscreen blending. You can see the results here: http://wizzer1.free.fr/bug/ Anyone?

Fullscreen blending as in a fullscreen quad/triangle?
Have you tried an glColor4f(1, 1, 1, 1) before rendering the fullscreen blend?

Yes it is a fullscreen quad. I try your advice, it doesn't change anything. I remove all the glHint stuff too, nothing changes. I really wonder why it doesn't work

Which blendmode are you using for the fullscreen quad? Also, are those particles implemented as pointsprites? (if so - ATI has been known to have problems with pointsprites..)
