how to make mesh animation in directx8

i've been working on visual basic 6.0 and directx7 2d for a year. now i'm just started with directxGraphic8 and i'm stucking on mesh (.X files) animation. Is there any one can tell me how to? or some good vb6 directx tutorials.[don't tell me directx4vb i've already known it] thanx a lot.

I'd look at the SDK sample on skinned meshes (animated)

Which is a mesh with bones.

(yay! Another VB6 user!...)
