Why doesn't the font size change? Help!

Hello, 3D programmers! I'm writing a simple program using DirectX 9 on C# and here's the problem I'm facing. I created a 3D text using a Mesh.TextFromFont method. I'm able to change it's position, font e.t.c. But nothing happens when I try to change the size of the font! The same problem with 3D texts created the same way I found in several samples(including sample from DirectX Documentation ). If anybody knows, why this happens, I'll be very grateful to receive the answer. Thanks!

You could always scale the mesh by concatenating your mesh transform matrix with a scale matrix. There might be a better way but this'll work.
