After I confirm(or deny, for that matter) full screen mode I get:

Error loading shader: vertex shader attach error

Function : Mirage::ShaderManager::loadProgram
File: \BenMobile\My Documents\Projects\democd\DemoCD\source\modules\ShaderManager\ShaderManager.cpp
Line : 146

Immediately after this it General protection faults.

Specs:
Pentium 4 3.0ghz
Geforce FX 5700
512mb RAM
Intel PBZ motherboard

Odd. It should work with that hardware. Perhaps it's your drivers.

That's excellent - 20 to 30 fps on my P4 2.8 Ghz, Radeon 9700, 1 Gb RAM.

Your walls are painfully crying for parallax bump mapping though :) and i think a bit of sublte, ambient lighting would also be nice.

Y.

looks nice :D

On start I get 57fps
48fps was the lowest I saw
75fps was the highest when i was outside with the shadows showing through the door behind me

When I enabled the 2nd light it dropped to 43fps inside.

WinXP+SP1
Athlon XP 2700+
ATI 9800xt, Cat 4.9, default settings
1GIG DDR RAM

It won't run on the crappy computers at my college

Pentium 4 1.6ghz
512 mb ram

Radeon 7000 64mb ram

the error I get is:
FATAL ERROR :
Your graphics card/driver does not have support a required capability:

ARB_vertex_buffer_object extension required

Please see readme.html for more information

Function : MainGM::checkCaps
File : .\MainGM.cpp
Line : 890

I get this same message. Probably because my laptop soesn't have the latest version of ogl. Where can I get it?
Also what's fil-rate? I've read about it three or more times today, but never once before.

You mean openGL drivers, and you can (officially) download the latest drivers from the laptop manufacturer's web site. These aren't updated very often though. Unofficially, it's usually possible to insert the appropriate openGL dll specific to your hardware into your windows\system directory. You can get this from the nvidia or ati site if you're using that kind of card, but you'll need to find a way to extract it.

All of this could be irrelevant though if your hardware isn't up to running fragment shaders.

Fill rate is the rate at which your card can fill pixels when scan-converting triangles. Stencil shadows demand a lot of fill-rate because a lot of pixels need to be filled.

nice demo, runs well.. nothing to say.
lowest fps I had: 80, average: around 100, max: 230 (looking up the sky, and 150 when looking at the whole building from one side of the map)

GF6800 GT, P4 3GHz HT, 1024Mb ram...

looking nice.
about 2.5fps on my new computer
athlon64 3000 gffx5200
i think though its the shaders more than the stencilshadows that is causing the preformance drop (i havent tested though)
