isometric projection?

Hello, one more question from the beginner. I need to draw images using isometric projection. How can I obtain it? In other words, what parameters of OrthoXX(...) correspond to isometric projection? Or should I define it in other way?

I accidentally set orthographic projection to my 3d viewport and got an isometric style. Here is what I used:

D3DXMatrixOrthoLH matOrtho, 640, 480, -1000, 1000
D3DDevice.SetTransform D3DTS_PROJECTION, matOrtho

Your view transform should remain the same for both perspective/ortho.

I think you would just set the rotation to look at top, front and right sides of your world for an isometric view by definition. Hope that helps you out.
