ID3DXEffect and Fixed Pipeline Lighting

Hi all, sorry for my terrible english at first... I have following problem: In my scene I have some lights from fixed pipeline enabled. Now, when I enable any (even empty) effect all those lights are gone. Is it some bug in my code or all fixed pipe lights must be set independly for all efects in their sources?
