I've been using VS 6.0 and VS.NET to work on a game. Randomly (about once daily, given I spend a few hours on it each day), when I either compile, run, or sometimes exit my game, my computer crashes and gives me a blue screen. I used to think it might have been because of a dodgy VS 6.0 installation, but after installing VS.NET its crashed again. Needless to say its pretty damn bad news when it crashes as I compile. Once it corrupted a source file and I had to resort to a backup! Does anyone know what might be causing this? Can anyone list some common causes? I'm using C++ with the latest SDL build to date. Thanks.

wild guess here, you are using Win98 or WinME, if not try reinstalling the OS anyway
