Hey everybody I just found out about this website and it seems like the best game developing website around. I have an Electrical Engineering degree so I am very familiar with C++ but know nothing about game programming. I was wondering what were some good up to date books I could read on so I could learn how to create games possibly in 3d and direct x9.0 if its possible for a newbie to learn. I saw the list of books that were listed in the for beginners section of this forum but wasn't sure if it was up to date. Any suggestions would help. Thanks
