Im using the Torque engine (actualy for about 2 hours now hehehe) Now obviously in that time I have gotten no where but for future plans I would like to know the engine is ment to be able to support Multiplayer does this meen that I will need a mid point for the games to connect like MMORPGS or will it be like LAN play (client to client) I would like the MMORPG option myself but is this possible with Torque. Sorry if this is a blaitant easy question but some day I will reach the standard intelligence for the board.

The way in which you decide to handle the connections (i.e. peer to peer or client/server) is up to you i would have thought... although i don't have any knowledge of the torque engine...

Hi choix,

I do know that RakNet (http://www.rakkarsoft.com) has the capabilities of MMO. I've haven't really messed around with the engine, but the documentation on the engine is pretty good and there is an MMO forum if you need help.

At one stage when I was looking at starting out on MMOs, I didn't really understand what I was getting myself into. I would recommend looking up some techniques of how to use/incorporate MMO's.

Good luck on your endeavor(s)!
