Could anyone recommend some good books for AI programming as this is the sort of area i'm interested in. Thanks Alot, Ross

The two big ones would be Game AI Programming Wisdom 1 + 2. They are relatively recent and up to date and read a lot like the Game Programming Gems series.

I've just boaught AI For Game Developers from O'Reilly. It's pretty good as a beginner's text to the subject. It lacks real depth, but is a useful starting point.
