I'm using SharpDevelop, not VS, and I have the xml help files that came with the Tao framework. I have tried viewing them in IE, Firefox, and SharpDevelop, and they are displayed as 'standard' xml trees. What is a program that I can use to visualize them as help files? (I think they were generated by the compiler as documentation.) As you can tell, I haven't really messed with the documentation generation features of the framework. I could look through the xml every time I need something, but I thought you could view them like the MSDN or .chm documentation.

You can use NDoc to generate MSDN-style chm files from the xml files..!
Also, for Tao, it's generally a better idea to look up the official documentation. The documentation in Tao is not that extensive.
