Sorry if this is such a newbie question...but I can't seem to use collections in my DirectX app. If I #include <afxtempl.h>, the compiler complains about windows.h already being included. #ifdef _WINDOWS_ #error WINDOWS.H already included. MFC apps must not #include <windows.h> #endif How can I circumvent this? Thanks!

You can't use MFC classes without an MFC app. They are heavily dependent on each other.

You might however rip the collection code from the mfc source (which is included with Visual Studio - all versions?).
