Primary display on dual-head setup

Does anyone have any idea how I can force my game to select only the primary display device (i.e. monitor #1) on a machine that uses a dual-head display? As it is, my application fails when it calls CreateDevice(). Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, how did you work around it? Thanks, z.

in the parameters of create device() one of them is the adapter number. that should be 0 for the primary adapter. if ur using c# its the first parameter. Try looking up "adapter" in the object brower. If ur not using c# find out which parameter the adapter index is, then start at 0 and work up unitl the thing works!!!
