Direct X (.X) exporter for maya 5 [lotta X's]

Hey i am just wonderign about a few features in the X file exporter for maya5.0 from the DX 9.0 SDK, for instance when you make an animation in maya, then export the model to .X format, will the animations be stored in the file? and what about textures? if i add a texture, in maya 5.0 then export, will the texture be with the .x file? if no then explain how i can do so, thanks
