Saving DX to Avi File

Someone posted about this a few weeks ago. Generaly this is not the easiest thing to do. But it depends on what you need it for.

If you just need AVI's of your engine, why don't you download FRAPS, http://www.fraps.com

It has a save to AVI feature, as well as screenshots and FPS counter, accessing the DX device. It's pretty fast.
