Very big problem with UV mapping!! HELP!
Hello!
I have a big problem. My sister created several milkshape models.
They have skeleton animation. They are devided into objects (head, body, weapon, etc.)
But I tried skinning. I used lithUnwrapper to make uv mapping.
But the result is a sh...t.
I tried the gamespace and truespace too with the same result.
When I load an orional model, it is uv mapped normally.
What can it be the problem with my models?
I posted a link about my uv bitmap and one other to about my model.
model's coat uv mapping: http://delfin.unideb.hu/~fazekaim/d_coat.jpg
model's wire screeshot:

model's smooth screeshot:

Thanks!
ok, that is normal, what you need is a good tuturial :P
ok, its like this, first u gotta divide your model into groups, using milkshape follow this Tuturial
you said you have your model diveded into objects, but make shure
they are divided currectly, this objects you call are what i call groups.
then you save your modal in a format lithunwrap can import ( lithunwrap is really the best, unless u have money for ultimate unwrap 3d ,im saving $ for that one), then u first hide all groups, then u unhide one of them, and start working on it, follow this tuturial, its really simple.
if you still have problems, post screenshots, ill do my best to help you.
