Hi, I have been looking at various PDAs and I've yet to find one which can create, edit, compile and run Java files, this would be used for Java-on-the-move which I need as I'm constantly moving, a laptop is too expensive so that's out of the question. So, is there any PDAs which are able to do what I want them to do? Thanks in Advance TomX

these should be of help, i can compile regular applets, tho havent figured out wot i need to compile midlets. ull have to look for jeode which runs java applets (it 'only' comes free with some ipaqs). Tho i noe it can, im not sure how to run .class files on their own (tho it can in PIE and .jar files).

These should hav everything u need to get started:

The zaurus has tools for building c/c++ apps on the PDA itself, although it requires quite a bit of space on a memory card to be installed and it's a big PITA to dev on a PDA ;)
I'd assume there are packages to let you dev java on the zaurus as well.
