Hey everyone! I have decided to go into win32 programming, mainly because I want to make real programs(not just shell programs). I know quite a bit of C++. I decided to go into win32 and not SDL/Allegro because I want to make programs that arent games as well as games. What I am asking for is an online tutorial to learn win32. Also, I use Bloodshed Dev C++, not VC++(if that means anything when looking at tutorials). Thanks for your help.

Well, I'm glad that you're starting into the world of Win32 Programming, have fun on your descent into it's hellish flames (it gets ugly, to say the least).

Here's a tutorial to start you off.

Also, read NeHe's first tutorial, it'll explain what EVERYTHING does, and it works on Dev-C++ for sure (I learned OpenGL and Win32 from NeHe!).

There's quite a few, I think the MSDN should help quite a bit, too. Maybe you can get a book or two, but I'd actually recommend against it (too many intraweb resourze3z).

Have fun, if I come across any more I'll edit this post.
