Combo Box control

I'm trying to add a combo box control to a dialog. In its properties I can initialize the combo box items list. when I test the dialog box (using the VC6++ test button) the combo box list is filled as needed but when I run the program and enter the dialog the combo box list is empty, why ????

The combo box initialisation list in the resource editor only works for MFC applications. If you're using vanilla C/C++ then you'll have to write code in the dialog box's WM_INITDIALOG message to set up the combo box items.

Make sure the combo box has a height. Sometimes the list appears empty when it is not simply because its dropdown height equals its normal height. To change the height, open up the dialog in the dialog editor, click on the dropdown arrow, and then drag the blue square on the bottom-middle down a bit.
