Question about 3ds model ( and model at all)

Hi I've loaded 3d model (3ds) to my game in open gl (It's a ship's model). How should I use it? For example how to move it? For me It's only set o tringles with textures but I need to know where the ship begin and end to move it properly.... I would be very thankfull for help.

You need to study up on Transformations and Rotations. NeHe's tutorials are probably where you should start. I'm guessing that you're new to OpenGL, in which case you might want to buy "OpenGL Programming Guide" (also called the red book).
