Once again I'm back with more questions about MSXML... So I've got a IXMLDOMDocumentPtr instance which is stored in the variable m_pDoc. I want to search for a specific element within that document so I decide to use "getElementsByTagName". A reasonable choice I think however when I go to try to use it as follows...
MSXML2::IXMLDOMNodeList* pChannelElems = 0;
m_pDoc->getElementsByTagName(L"channel", &pChannelElems);
It doesn't work for me. When I check the size of the DOMNodeList after getElementsByTagName has been called I get a size of 0. That's definitely not the value I should be getting. Any thoughts?

Try replacing ...

MSXML2::IXMLDOMNodeList* pChannelElems = 0;

with ...

MSXML2::IXMLDOMNodeListPtr pChannelElems = 0;
