Hi, NeHe''s tutorial engine describes 3d objects in the following way: // Floor 1 0 -3.0 0.0 -3.0 0.0 6.0 -3.0 0.0 3.0 0.0 0.0 3.0 0.0 3.0 6.0 0.0 0 -3.0 0.0 -3.0 0.0 6.0 3.0 0.0 -3.0 6.0 6.0 3.0 0.0 3.0 6.0 0.0 The first line beneath the comment is the texture id number. Each line below describe one vertice of a triangle: first 3 numbers are x, y, and z co-ordinates, last 2 numbers are u and v mapping co-ordinates for the texture. Question: Does anyone know of a file format conversion app that will convert from, say, .3ds format to this or a similiar format? Or does someone know how to make a plugin for 3dsmax to do this?

I suggest u open up an ASE file (Which can be exported from Studio Max), in a simple text editor. I''m sure u''ll handle it from there (it basiclly TELLS u what to do!)

U might try looking at obj files too
