OpenGL Font antialias?

I am useing FreeType2 to render my fonts and I am looking for a method to make them antialias in OpenGL. Any idea how can I do that? (I use 256 gray levels - alfa) (Blend?, GL Ext?)

I'm not sure how FreeType2 works, but if you just use textured quads for fonts, they will basically be antialiased already (assuming you make them antialiased when creating the textures).
