Hey all. I was wondering, now that dot NET is out, is there any point on studying MFC? Will microsoft continue to develop the MFC or its just .NET now?

MFC is very popular on the Win32 platform. It is Microsoft's primary wrapper around Win32 API in C++. Thus, if you want to develop applications using C++, then I highly recommend MFC.

Learn WTL instead. But .NET is the future, no doubt. MFC will continue to be developed but it won't be the focus of Microsoft's development like it used to be.
