Anyone have any links to info and tutorials and such relating to programming in Linux? Specifically, I'm looking for stuff on how to work with the X Window system, and perhaps something like a transition guide for win32 programmers? Also, anything involving setting up OpenGL in Linux would be nice. I've tried googling for all of this, but I can't find anything, aside from SDL stuff.

What kind of programming? Are you trying to make GUI applications or games? For GUI applications, you'll want to use a higher level library such as Qt, Gtk, or, my personal favorite, GNUstep. These are designed to support modern UI features such as drag and drop, etc.

For games you can use GLUT or SDL. Working with pure Xlib is only for the severely masochistic (and/or stupid), makes for generally unportable code. If you fit that description, you might find this tutorial useful.
