hey, Can somebody tell me if there are functions in GLUT to either a.) Tell me the position of the mouse (without a button being pressed) or b.) How to have multiple keys (ie: Up arrow and left arrow, so I can run and turn at the same time)? Thanks, Ben

u should have the man pages with your distribution of glut check there for better descriptions
1/ glutPassiveMotionFunc
2/ a few ways for this
glutIgnoreKeyRepeat, glutKeyboardUpFunc etc

Personally I would use DirectInput over GLUT functions for anytype of external input. Its more built for this kind of thing.

I think that''s kinda missing the point of using GLUT, isn''t it (platform independence)
