Irrlicht question

this gose out to any one who is or was using the irrlicht engine i just want to know how you can attach a mesh to a camera or get one Nodes vector to equal another nodes vector i basicly want to get a SceneNode to equal the position of the camera so you can get the first person effect thanks [smile]

Yea, you just attach it the way you would attach any other scene node to another, but if its a first person camera that you need, then why do you want a mesh too?

Your using it to add weapons, right.

You actually do wany to attach the nodes to the camera, not the camera to the nodes. Irrlicht uses a relative to parent positioning system.

cameranode would be the parent of weapon node in this example.

cameranode = scenemanager->addCameraSceneNode();
weaponnode = scenemanager->addAnimatedMeshSceneNode(Location, cameranode);
