Gamecube and Playstation2 - API's ?

Alright: I am writing a game in OpenGL with /possible/ support for DirectX. I know Xbox uses directX, but what about Gamecube and Playstation 2? Are they both custom API's or do they use OpenGL? Thanks, Mike

I am pretty sure you have to access the hardware yourself, without a pre-made API, but you can install linux on a PS2, which would be the easiest way to develop for PS2

There is ps2gl for ps2linux. Probably not the best way to get optimum performance, but one assumes it's a couple orders of magnitude easier than the alternative.

The Dolphin API used on the GameCube is very similar to OpenGL, just a few small changes.

There's a version OpenGL for PS2 Linux but the sce libaries are totally different.
