Terrain Engine in MDX?anyone?

i cant seems to find the right solution on how to create terrain in MDX coz the available Customvertex format are limited; for example i cant place a light on my terrain eventhough i got my normal already coz the color uis needed in the vertex; ANd in Mdx i cant combine color + normal + texture coordinates into one cozz the only availabel vertex format are: CustomVertex.PositionNormalTextured CustomVertex.PositionNormalColored CustomVertex.PositionColoredTextured anybody got solution for this?

Out of curiosity, do you really need a color AND a texture? Anyway, have you looked into FVFs yet? They will let you specify everything you need individually. The customvertex class/thingee only holds the more common FVFs in it for you.
