ofstream tab_character

Recommended Posts

I'm tryin to format a basic text file (so what I spit out can be used as assembler code). To do this I need to spit out tab characters. There's gotta be a way to cout << a literal tab character, short of just counting white spaces (because I need the "adaptive" nature of a tab as opposed to dumb spaces). Remember I need everything in columns for asm =) Anybody know what the special character is to do it?
