Hi, I'm so far using directshow to play mp3s, but mp3s arn't really that free to use, so I'm wondering by just using directshow and no foreignish code, is it possible to play any other music file types that are free, and what file types would those be? Thanks. btw I'm using source originanally from the bgmusic example of the directshow.

ogg vorbis is free.

but can direct show play that without using the ogg vorbis libraries?
