Mesh Subset?

A subset is a group of faces that have the same material (ie, the same shader, constants, and textures). Commonly, complex meshes are devided into subsets, since they have multiple materials. Since changing a shader, constant, or a texture requires a new pass, each subset must be rendered independently.
