if you view and projection are both identity matricies, can you still draw triangles on the screen? And if so, what are the bounds of cordinates that will not be clipped by your viewport nor your near and far clippings? Thanks, Axi.

I never tried it, but you should be able to. With normal view and projection matrices, the output for all the vertices that are within your view frustum will have coordinates in the range:

x' : From -1.0 to 1.0
y' : From -1.0 to 1.0
z' : From 0.0 to 1.0
w' = 1.0

So as long as you have triangles with coordinates in those ranges, you'll get something on screen.
