want to disable print fucntionality globally

hi all
How can i disable print feature to any application running?
for example disable print/ disallow print from notepad/winword.?
How windows does it printing? means which message it is sending?
Is it possible with global hook?

If you're in Windows XP (professional?) or 2000 or 2003, you can probably use the user access permisions to achieve the desired effect (by removing the ability to use printers and create printers from the necessary accounts).
